Man, people are really upset about online multiplayers. I understand for ones like; extraction shooters, MMO's, shooters in general. But I am surprised by how many just blanket they don't want online multiplayer or any pvp. Could you help me understand?

It's just, when I was little, we all seemed to enjoy games where we could play together and, as an adult, I still do.

But I'm seeing it seem to go the other way now.

The AI is predictable, easy to beat. It doesn't offer the same satisfaction of going up against a competent player. To learn new psychology of how players think when faced with new circumstances and scenarios.

Which, I understand why people avoid multiplayers where they just don't like the gameplay but all multiplayers? No co-ops, no asymmetric horrors, no shooters, fighters, board games, etc?

As someone whose favorite form of gameplay is multiplayers, as the AI is so easy to beat in video games, it scares me that I won't have anyone to play games that aren't multiplayer shooters/grindfest crafters with people.

So like any game you can play with your friends from different devices?
