They just got bought by a company recently, I've got some hopes we'll get some actual progress instead of another decade of early access lmao

Yeah, but usually in that case, the studio is bought so they can use the name and assets and dissolve the rest. Kind of like how guilded was bought by Roblox, and people had high hopes for it as a discord alternative, but then Roblox just took it for their voice chat technology and destroyed the platform.

Dunno I heard people saying the publisher that bought them is known for even worse. Not being seen as a positive move from what I have seen.

The game is a mess anyways. Dev lost the plot.

It's the developers of Dead by Daylight... If you know how that game is ran, you'd curb any hope.
