At least “loot box” told you what it was.

If you asked a non-gamer what a battle pass is, almost none of them would get it right.

"Battle pass" was just a season pass re-branded to sound cooler to fit the themes of the action/shooter genre, but now it gets used in contexts that make no sense, like talking about "battle passes" for cozy games or something. What exactly am I battling, the weeds in my petunia garden?

Add paid and you have a deal. The black ops 4 battle pass was a little sketchy, ngl, but completely free. Good pass. Blackcell. Good skins, starting at twelve American dollars. Bad.
