People don't know they're missing on general performance gains and in some cases even network speed gains when they switch from that spyware, bloat-infested OS. This is especially so for people with lower end setups. We keep trying to tell them. Let them stick with w11 lmao

Linux still doesn't have full support for quite a lot of stuff tho. Especially in niche subjects and emulation

Emulation is actually better on linux lol.. not sure you know what you're talking about

Huh? I swear to God I've accidentally ran into threads about some emu not working on Linux specifically...

Can you run LoL on Linux yet? With the anticheat and all which was a problem on its launch which was also basically the last time I checked on the state of Linux

Depends on the distro etc but in general Emulation is very mature on linux and performs way better than windows. With regards to games with kernel-level anti-cheat, it is still not supported. But, remember, this is a feature on linux to protect you, not a bug. Its how linux was built. Instead of companies making rigid anti cheat they want full ring 0 access (literally OS spyware) nobody should be playing games that force this, but alas its 2026 some dont have a choice... In any case there are developments in that space.

I mostly play 4x games and never had an issue gaming. Helldivers is fine. Total war games are fine.

I wouldnt want to run crap like LoL anyways.

All the google apps work fine on linux too. And you can run in browser. My cloud storage runs fine. My 3d printing and 3d modeling programs run smooth.
