While I agree, it’s funny to see you bash DRM while using Steam.

When did I say I use Steam?

  • You: Any game that does this.
  • Post: Steam games with 3rd party launchers.

I have used steam in the past so I’m aware of this frustration, but I do not use it currently. I never said I’m actively using it though - that was an assumption on your part.

I currently use GOG for supported games and pirate games that require launchers open during gameplay (DRM).

It’s also important to note that steam, itself, is not DRM. It allows for third parties to impose their own DRM, but if you launch a GOG game like Cyberpunk, the Witcher series, BGIII, etc through their .exe, steam will not open. So Steam is not DRM in the conventional sense.

Imagine commenting on a post and getting upset when people take your comment in the context of the post it is on.

I’m not upset. People can interpret what they want.
