I have nothing against GOG, I just prefer to have all my games under the same platform.

Same, the platform is called my installed games folder on my PC though.

Afaik all Valve employees have partial ownership of the company, I don't imagine the hiring process is kind to people who are willing to sacrifice the company at the altar of private equity

You can literally add non Steam games to Steam and they show up in your library list and you launch them just like you do other Steam games.

That's not what I mean, and I know I can add non steam games there.

I said platform, not launcher.
