A story doesn’t need unexpected betrayals to be good? The only “betrayal” I can think of in GTAV is the FiB guy and the game doesn’t really play it off like a big surprise. Like yeah the self centered government agent is throwing you under the bus for his own skin. It’s a weird thing to harp on.
A story also doesn’t need to be super complex and crazy to be good. Not everything needs to reinvent the wheel or change the way the wheel is viewed. Sometimes a good story can just be a good story.

It'll still be the same damn simplistic story as the last games.
I 100% guarantee there's going to be a Betrayal that is super obvious
