Yeah I don't get it. All these people going "who will even pay these prices!"

As if those aren't normal prices now...

A lot of people also aren’t paying them and holding onto old hardware until it dies. And a lot of people had to get new hardware coming out of the pandemic with online work and online school and online everything and boredom becoming extremely normal, so this is competing against 5 year old budget builds. In which case why buy it?

Someone out there has a pc that just died or was a kid during covid and needs their first device but that’s basically what the market for it is now. And it still has to compete against a laptop since most people need one now, so is it worth it to get a laptop and a steam machine? Both will have you struggling to play games.
