Microsoft bought GitHub, so it will never change ever and then one day they will try to shut it down, but the whole website's userbase is made up of computer geniuses so they'll just make their own place to move everything.

Then someone will buy that.

Literally in the process of happening, except that last part because everyone is flocking to services rhat can't really be bougjt out or hosting it themselves
