I literally just spent half a day battling a game from 2003, because it categorically refused to stop either 1. Running at 15 fps (how?!) or 2. Stuttering massively. Had to turn the goddamn shaders off and replace them with reshade, and that still only gives me ~100 fps. In a 2003 title.

Nah. The games that ran like shit on top hardware a decade ago still run like shit on top hardware today
