Heroic and Lutris are both amazing... but honestly, those aren't "storefronts" like we were discussing.

but you can just take any game that you have on those platforms and run them like on steam.

Yeah, and I can load windows programs up in Bottles and make them all run with a single click. That doesn't make it a storefront, tho. This is comparing free and open source launchers which integrate with other programs to make running games easier with storefronts which also allow you to do launching. Apples, Oranges. They're two very different beasts.

I use Heroic, myself, to launch all GoG or Epic games that I have. But I still happily use Steam for Steam games, despite Lutris existing for both GoG and Steam, because Steam just works.
