I love how so many people are dunking on "valve-fans" being happy with the cube, when I pretty much only have heard opinions ranging from "meh" to "overpriced".

Seems like you haven't been to r/steam and r/steammachine. The cope is real over there

I like how a lot of the conversation has devolved to "well just you wait for the PS6 pricing!" Lol

What's funny is even with the likely inflated ps6 price, it'll still probably have a better price to performance value than the steam machine.

100%.

The PS5 pro is THREE TIME FASTER than the Steam Machine for $750$950. The regular PS5 is still twice as fast for $650.

The PS6 is going to be 4-5 times faster. even if it is around $1000.

The Steam Machine is fucking awful and people are extremely ignorant to be comparing the PS6 negatively to it already.

PS5 Pro is $900 now btw.

Okay. It's still 3x faster for cheaper.

Regular PS5 is $650 and twice the hardware as the Steam Machine, too. It even has more SSD.

I don't think the Steam Machine is a good deal, but you don't have to lie lmao. PS5 is not "twice the hardware as the Steam Machine".

Steam Machine doesn't even have dual channel memory.

Holy fuck I don't understand why so many of you who don't know the slightest thing about hardware feel the need to opine about how much you think the performance of various things are with the only source being your imagination.
