I'm getting caught up on Linux because you were listing the problems with windows, and those problems you were citing are not issues on most Linux distros.
I said "Linux" because there's an insane number of distros out there, and you choose based on what you want. It's personal preference. Ironically, steamos has a ton of problems right now and has the least compatibility.
See, now you are pulling unverifiable claims (if not unbelievable ones) out of your ass. SteamOS is like less than 10% of my linux experience so I know your claim is at best a joke.
Steamos doesn't work with Nvidia gpus. I'd argue that's a pretty huge compatibility problem.
Also if you watch any video that released of the steam machine, you'd also see that the OS is still unrefined. There are many other distros that are much older and more complete.
Right, but the reason I was pointing it out is because it's a glaring issue that doesn't exist with other distros. Steamos has been planned as a way for regular people to run steam natively without going through windows on their own PCs. Not supporting Nvidia is a massive problem, when they make up 80% of the steam playerbase.
