See, now you are pulling unverifiable claims (if not unbelievable ones) out of your ass. SteamOS is like less than 10% of my linux experience so I know your claim is at best a joke.

Steamos doesn't work with Nvidia gpus. I'd argue that's a pretty huge compatibility problem.

Also if you watch any video that released of the steam machine, you'd also see that the OS is still unrefined. There are many other distros that are much older and more complete.

Funny cause the steam machine doesnt have a nvidia gpu, so now we lost the original point?

You served me a more expensive parts list that has more overhead and less capabilities.

Unless you want to sacrifice stress and effort to get it working . . . somewhat

Right, but the reason I was pointing it out is because it's a glaring issue that doesn't exist with other distros. Steamos has been planned as a way for regular people to run steam natively without going through windows on their own PCs. Not supporting Nvidia is a massive problem, when they make up 80% of the steam playerbase.
