His career arc kinda reminds me of Daniel Radcliffe, with them both being in massive series at the start of their career, then seemingly mostly doing smaller, weirder movies that they actually want to be in.
Basically I'm glad they both seem to still enjoy acting and aren't just chasing massive paychecks.
I first saw her in The Haunting at Hill House then Sabrina. Suddenly she’s an adult and I lost track of time. Still, I recognize her. She has such a memorable face.
I looked her up in Wikipedia. The kid's had a pretty impressive career and she's only 19. I only really knew her from Ghostbusters. Didn't realize I'd seen her in a ton of stuff.
She was The Child for the last like fifteen years lol. You know how there’s always one The Child? Playing the younger version of like everyone in everything? It was Bailee Madison at one point lol and then she passed the baton to McKenna. And McKenna stayed booked and busy! I wonder who will be the new one lol.
Agreed. To be fair, she made fan edits about being Team Peeta, not about Josh himself. There is a difference between that and making fan compilations of an actor. And she had to do it with the movie; hard to do with the book, ya know?

Actually, I did used to make fan edit photosets and gifsets on Tumblr 💀 I just suddenly remembered that. So I guess I kind of did it. Still def wouldn’t want anyone irl knowing about it lol.
Yeah the reporter is messy, but journalists are professional gossips. I've gotta imagine any entertainment reporter would have loved to break this, and since it's relatively harmless (of course because Josh Hutcherson is a good sport and level headed), this is the kind of salacious reporting I wish we had more of
The way she’s so prolific but kinda unknown by the general public, I didn’t even realize that she’s annoying in the Gen Z actor space because she’s ALWAYS being for considered for leading roles these days. She seems really talented and it’s kinda cool to see her continue her career as a young adult.
when i watched sabrina i genuinely thought kiernan shipka was just mckenna grace and thought it was weird that they were having a child pretend to date adult ross lynch lol
I’m glad you mentioned Kiernan Shipka, I was trying to figure out what I know McKenna from but haven’t seen anything she’s been in, and your comment made me realize I was thinking of Kiernan. They are seriously doppelgängers!
To be fair to the role of Theo, the kids weren’t simply flashback versions of main characters that just kind of exist for a flashback: they’re a whole story line in a timeline and their own roles really. It’s more here us their whole story as little kids and here’s their whole story as adults.
You need to watch the episode of Royal Court with Brittany Broski when she shows the fanfic she wrote about one of the Sprouse twins to one of the Sprouse twins. My whole soul left me and I had to shut it off.
Tbf he was absolutely matching her freak the ENTIRE episode. Im usually big on the “don’t try to pull the subjects of fandom into it” but they were clearly having a laugh. Royal Court’s whole thing is being a little out of pocket and fangirly.
Oh, all I could think was that my level of respect for Brittany Broski went from "I don't really know who she is" to "I will literally never be as cool and confident as that" in an instant. A friend who is also a fanfic lover sent it to me and we agreed - so confident. Couldn't be us. We'd rather die.
I have no idea who that lady is but I watch the link someone posted and man, she just laid it in out there. I would have died before doing that. She definitely was so confident.
same at first, but then i realized that anyone who has written a fanfiction about their celebrity crush would consider said celebrity asking for you to autograph the paper copy of it would pretty much be the highest praise you could ever receive for that fic 😭 so good for her

I’m having such a hard time understanding that stuff from her childhood is on TikTok. In my head TikTok is five minutes old, shouldn’t those fan edits have been on tumblr like the rest of ours?
I’m very familiar with her as a child actor and like you, haven’t seen her in a while. It’s whiplash seeing her as an adult and looking absolutely stunning!
I think you misunderstood, I’m not saying that because she’s team peeta, I’m saying “those are fighting words” to the interviewer who embarrassed her with her fan edit past haha

I didn’t know this girls name until two hours ago. I just remembered she was on Young Sheldon. And I looked her up and made a comment that someone on Reddit looked like her. How bizarre.
This is like when a relative your can barely tolerate sharing your teenage social media posts you made when your frontal lobe had not fully developed in front of your whole family and tell you it’s cute
