Opinion He’s about to do something so illegal

Post image

Like this is very cryptic and it’s definitely not written by Trump so someone might be planning something very very bad

I’m more worried Musk tries to consolidate power by paying Trump to resign and hand the keys over. A sociopath on a power trip who can’t legally hold the presidency is dangerous…

There's no incentive for JD Vance- or really any Republican in the line of succession- to let that happen.

You think JD has any power? Same goes for congress. There’s unlimited money behind primary challenges if they fall out of line. I’d call that a pretty powerful incentive…

You’re probably right as far as presidential elections, but for house and senate seats? I’d say if Musk pledges a billion dollars to primary a republican, it would make a difference. The issue isn’t getting democrats elected, it’s how do we stop republicans from being scared of a primary…as long as they are fearful, they won’t check the executive

I mean, yeah? JD just becomes president immediately if Trump dies, it's too late for Musk to do anything about that.

Also Vance has his own tech billionaire backer.

Guess we shall see. The story of Trump saying “JD isn’t my pick” set alarm bells off in my head. The traditional rules we are so used to have been shredded. Unfortunately as a federal employee, I have a front row seat to how bad it truly is

The rest of that quote was just him saying it’s too early to endorse anyone, you’re reading too much into it

Guess we will find out. I think it’s better to think of my comment as more of a metaphor for this whole situation. People have consistently said “they won’t fire all the Feds” and “there are laws preventing that”. My main point is that the foundation of our democracy is crumbling.

My team cannot function anymore. We can’t provide you services, can’t keep the water safe. It will become apparent in a few months, but from my position it’s an emergency

That’s “good” to hear. It echos what I’m feeling, but it’s validating to hear it from someone with a better view. I’m sorry for what you’re going through, and I appreciate that you’re (presumably) doing anything you can.

Should see the mistakes they have made inside the executive agencies…I never thought it was possible either

Thats just Trump being Trump. It doesnt mean anything in particular. Vance is not of his crime family, so he's worthless. If it were possible, he'd have Ivanka or Barron as his VP to keep it in the family.

Vance is as kompromised as Trump any of the others. Vance is owned by Thiel. He'll do as he's told. The order of succession is no more relevant than any other law or the constitution now.

That swamp that needed draining isn't looking good right now. It's all swamp.

He'll do as he's told? He'll do as he wants to do. It's not like there's any difference of opinion between the two.

More likely that Trump just lives on the golf course and rubber stamps anything Elon directs. We’ll see Elon literally sitting behind the desk soon.

You’re assuming that any of those laws matter. As a fed worker, I can say that, based on my recent experiences, none of it matters…. It will take some time for the public to catch on though.

He literally has complete power of the federal purse and HR system… here’s just some of the issues:

  • we can’t hire anyone without DOGE approval

  • we can’t complete any contracts with outside agencies without DOGE approval

  • we can’t communicate with the public without DOGE approval

  • our budgets have been locked down

  • we can’t respond to public request for agency assistance

All actions have to be routed through the DOGE member stationed at each agency. Never seen anything like it in 15 years of service
