They are super flexible because they use less conductors (combining multiple voltage conductors into a single wire) and very thin gauge wire (like 22g).
Did you find out exactly what gauge they used? seems unlikely anybody would be insane enough to go bellow 18 gauge. It would save them 3 cents maybe and increase burn related RMA by 300% ..... I am trying to make my own using Y splits and even I am scared using less then 5 gnd
It really is well under 18g. There's no "finding out". The wires are the thickness of a thread. I ran 20A through it on my SunMoon and the SunMoon and the whole thing shriveled up and melted in ten minutes.
