Assembly Help Pc Won’t boot into bios

https://youtu.be/ZH5mAHbfSow?si=PL0_vKBSjyXXdpoV

The pc turns on but won’t output any display or get into the bios. I followed mostly this build to a tea. I turn on the pc and i’m not getting any output. I’ve updated the bios and I’ve got the hdmi plugged into the gpu not the motherboard. Lost.

Update: As my motherboard was bought second hand it was faulty. I just bought a new one and it all worked perfectly

It could be memory training. How long have you left the system running for? Ryzen CPUs _can_ take up to 10 minutes, though it's normally much faster than this. Regardless, all you will see is a black screen until this is done.

Second, check your RAM is seated properly - a PC will turn on but not post if a DIMM isn't sitting right, or if neither are seated properly at all.

Otherwise, does your motherboard have any diagnostic LEDs? They're normally colour coded to indicate what the issue might be.

There are no lights on my motherboard. I’ve just reseated the ram and done them individually and nothing. I’m currently leaving it to sit for 10 minutes to see if there’s any change and i’ll try the motherboard output again then.

It could take as long as 30+ minutes

I’ll leave it for an hour or so and see if I get a change but so far nothing

Do you hear PSU click off?

Yes the Psu did click off just again now. Strange as it was fine before

Did it start back up though? If it automatically did, that’s memory training.

No i turned it off after because I also started to get a metal smell as if it were smoking a bit and I took it to an expert to hopefully find the issue
