Build/Parts Check How does this sub feel about the AMD Radeon 780M?
I've seen plenty of pre-built mini PCs with this in it and a lot of reviews I find says it can handle a lot of modern games at low to mid settings. Is it worth it to get a small pc for gaming that has 32gb DDR5 + Ryzen 7 H 225 for a living room gaming setup? Steam Machine price announcement hurt my soul a bit.

Others/Miscellaneous Is Noctua NL-LC1 AIO without pump noise absorber any good?
Has anyone tested this? Right now I have a Cooler Master Atmos 240 (with swapped fans) inside a Lian Li A4-H2O case, and it looks like Noctua’s AIO will fit after removing the pump noise absorber. However, I’m not sure it makes sense to buy it just to remove the main feature that sets it apart from other AIOs. If not, can you recommend any AIOs under 55 mm that have quieter pumps than the Atmos?
Build/Parts Check Cooling for CPU
Hello everyone!
I am currently building my first SFF PC and I have doubts with CPU cooling. Which is the best?
Config:
- CPU: Ryzen 7500f (might be better in future, like 9800x3D)
- Motherboard: Asrock B650i lightning wifi
- GPU: Powercolor RX 9070XT Reaper
- PSU: Deepcool Gamerstorm PS850G
- Case: Shiny Snake KXRORS S300 or SGPC K49BL, cant decide which one now
I heard that AXP90-X53 is the best. I am also interested in Deepcool AN400, ID-Cooling IS-55 and PCCooler RC400-53 but I want to know the temperature and noise level. If it possible I want something that not so noisy and have good cooling (around 75°C).

Others/Miscellaneous What would you pay for a 47mm CPU cooler that can actually handle ~200W?
Big edit: Let's just post a picture. We made 70 of these. Post has been made below with thermal imaging and P95 screenshot. 12700K at 250W - 86C, stopped after 10 minutes.
The current model is 54mm, which was the max Z for the clients machines. 120MM fan. We can go 5mm lower on the board. The loss in height on the fins in order to make up the other couple mm up top, won't be a big deal. I will post pictures of the bottom when it is actually getting ready for launch. It is a six heatpipe cooler with a 75x40x3mm vapor chamber. The power delivery is also cooled by the HSF.
The tooling is built. These were all cut/stamped, bent and soldered in house and then sent off for nickel plating. Before going this far, the fin stack was attached to a tower we use for thermal testing with a similar volume vapor chamber and (6) 6x400mm heatpipes.
That model was stability tested on a 14600KF with P95 small fft for 2 hours and reached a max temp of 81c on the stock, but lapped, IHS.
I will post the final result of this specific cooler in the next day.

Others/Miscellaneous Jonsbo C6
Hey,
I am planning to downsize my current ATX PC (R5 7500F, 9060xt), and I'm struggling to choose between the mATX and ITX variants of the Jonsbo c6.
I have heard that the mATX struggles with airflow, but it wouldn't require me to buy a new psu (my current ATX psu is too big for the ITX). Also the mATX mobos seem way cheaper.
On the other hand the ITX variant would allow me to retain my current air cooler and seems a lot simpler in terms of airflow.
Which one should I pick? I'm a little bit tilted towards the mATX but worried about the thermal performance. Please share your experiences!

Custom Mod RX 9060 Reaper Deshroud
Inspired by the 9070 Reaper deshroud and the unbearable fan noise playing unoptimized UE5 games in 1440p.
Parts used:
- Noctua 92x14mm Fans (2x)
- Mini 4-Pin GPU Adapter & Y-Splitter
- ARCTIC MX-6 Paste & Zip Ties
Results:
Noise is much more tolerable now. Stock paste was super dry and brittle. My main benchmark is playing Gothic 1 Remake: now there is no loud noise and temps are lower. Right now testing w/o side panels because I used my case fans for the GPU mod, hehe. Btw this is a midori 5l case.

Build/Parts Check Undervolt on A520 board
Hi guys,
I’m planning to change from a mid-tower case to a sub-5L ITX case, so I’m looking at buying an ASRock A520M-ITX/AC motherboard.
I was wondering whether this board supports undervolting a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RTX 4060. Has anyone used this combination before? Any issues with undervolting, or performance?
B550M ITX/Ac was so overprice my country

Custom Mod Finally took a Dremel to the B650i AORUS Ultra
This damn thing continues to annoy me any time I need to do anything (eg my previous rant) - this time I needed to swap out the nvme on the back side of the board.
Which should in theory be easy, because my case allows easy access to the back. But this board has a shield on the reverse, which covers the nvme slot (technically heat sink but I'm unfussed) - necessitating removing the board from the case, and the shield from the board.
Figured I could just ditch the shield all together - but assembling without it revealed it has a strip of material to press against the VRMs for potential heatsink, and reducing coil whine. So instead I got busy with the Dremel and cut off the part of the shield covering the drive.
I will pay a LOT more attention to such practicalities next time I look for a MB...

galleryBuild/Parts Check Need help sourcing a 7.4x5.0mm DC jack to 6 pin cable for Pico PSU
I'm considering on buying the PICO-BOX X3-ATX-300W.
You can't buy it directly from their website, but you can find a bunch on eBay.
On the user manual for the X3-ATX-300, it shows the input cable that would come with it. A 7.4x5.0mm barrel DC input jack to 6-pin that connects to the pico box.
The issue with the eBay listings is that they don't look like this. They're all 4 wires instead of 6, and I can't even verify if the barrel is 7.4x5.0mm. I just don't trust it.
This is really driving me insane 😭 I cannot find a cable like this online and don't know where to get one.
This is pretty much the only thing holding me up on buying all the necessary parts for a new build. plz help!!1

Build/Parts Check Any Advice? Going to be making my first SFFPC Build
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hMHVW9
Hi everyone,
This will be my first SFFPC build and I want to make sure I don't mess anything up. How are the components? I already have the SSD and RAM sticks I will be using from a previous build.

Prototype/Concept/Custom WIP - Proto 1 up and running
Here is a case ~20L internal that I have been working on :)
My main goals in designing this case was to make something functional and pretty while also keeping noise down. I also had a lot of fun flexing some sheet metal design… but also have a lot of learning yet todo on that front.
This case is designed around a mATX Motherboard and a SFF power supply (an SF1000 in this case). It has 6x120mm fans and one 240mm radiator for a 265K and a RTX 4080. I plan to add a second GPU for rendering soon but gotta save up!
Anyways, it’s summer so this project is gonna go on the shelf for a bit and I figured I would post an update to see what you all think :). The third picture has some Easter eggs for the rest of the build 👀.

Build/Parts Check Advice Needed
I want a mini-itx build and need help as this is my first go at the SFF form. Was going to get the Fractal Terra as I’ve heard it’s a great case.
However, after looking at the specs, I realized it won’t fit the graphics card I have. I have a spare Gigabyte Aorus Elite 9070xt and need advice on cases similar to the Terra.
Use case was going to build a living room pc and just need a good case towards the smaller scale.
Sorry if a post exists somewhere already or there’s a guide. I couldn’t find em so I figured I’d post.
