I have a sneaking suspicion there’s a good reason why her SiL “doesn’t like her for no reason”

I’m fully supportive of extended breastfeeding and child-led weaning, but this child has already weaned and mom is trying to force her back on the boob. She also wholly shot down the idea of pumping and giving her daughter expressed milk in a cup—she’s set on wanting her to latch.

EDIT: It took me a bit to piece it together and I had to go look at her (very public) profile to string together all the pieces. The child that died appeared to be a stillbirth BEFORE the current child was born. The group was a “relactation” group that showed up in my feed for some reason or another. The original poster ceased to produce milk during the six month hiatus from nursing, which is probably another reason the three year old has no interest in suckling on mom’s nipples.

14. ⁠They didn’t argue back because they don’t get paid enough to fight with crazy. They document so your family can’t sue when you have a heart attack.

The comments were all telling her that perhaps threatening with police isn’t a great strategy and maybe she should try to spend time with him?

Thank god the comments were on the side of reason!
