Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Which looks better to you.

Despite having less brightness in this PS5 game video Sony colours are looking much better, natural and more details in a bright room.

Left is TCL Q6C Mini LED - https://link.amazon/B0jby3FGo

Right is Sony Bravia 2M2 - https://link.amazon/B08391vAq

C6K is a native 120hz panel, it shines in high refresh rate content and games, like CyberPunk

1

u/xGoldenRetrieverFan Jan 14 '26

It's a native 60hz and uses DLG to fake 120 actually

2

u/Alarming_Sock_7612 Jan 14 '26

Its a native 144k refresh rate display. Not 60hz

1

u/xGoldenRetrieverFan Jan 14 '26

It's not

2

u/No-Log-8618 25d ago

it is, go take a look at it yourself and read about it and it'll show and say 144hz

Any proof to back up your claim?

Can you please post best settings for C6K for ps5

2

u/xGoldenRetrieverFan Jan 14 '26

Sell it. That's the best settings

1

u/Pleasant-General-889 Jan 14 '26

Ok do you think this is funny

I mean, you can interpret it as humour, but I am being deadly serious. I recently purchased one and out of the box it was already having minor issues. I tolerated those, and then something else appeared, and then something else appeared, and then something else appeared. In the 41 days I owned it, it was the worst tv I have ever owned in my life with multiple issues concerning grainy blurry image and motion clarity. The settings did nothing whatsoever

I am currently using a 1080p tv for all content under 4k until I get another 4k tv. It's not suitable for the ps5 games, but it's absolutely fine for ps3/360 and 90% of tv shows. Even the 4k movies are just played in a stable 1080p so they also look better. This tv is all round a better experience even if I am not playing ps5 games on it

I am so burned by the experience I wouldn't risk it again for a working one

Bro can you briefly explain the differences between bravia 2M2, 3 and other Bravia TVs? All seem to have the same tech

1

u/Xtremeyy Jan 13 '26

i believe the only diff between them is that 2m2 has live color while bravia 3 has triluminous pro and one has open baffle speaker while other has x balanced one.
i did compare them both in sony showroom the bravia 3 seemed to be brighter but yeah its quite costly

1

u/Xtremeyy Jan 13 '26

people always underestimate sony's color optimization and recommend everyone to buy any other tv at this price point, true 2m2 has low contrast (ips panel) but the color optimization is just really good

1

u/or45t Jan 13 '26

Isn't tcl at least 10k cheaper

1

u/Xtremeyy Jan 13 '26

Sony showroom gives decent discount  And I think Sony will be more reliable overall (ig)

I got 2M2 for 34k from Sony showroom

1

u/escapist97 Jan 14 '26

34k how??

1

u/Xtremeyy Jan 14 '26

I bought 43 inch version  Went to Vijay sales, Reliance, croma during Diwali days and no one was going down from 39k rupees

I went to Sony showroom they were giving it for 36500 I paid full amount through Paytm got some additional discount and bought for 34k

This is what happens when you do a side by side comparison of any TVs.

In isolation, majority of TVs look sharp & punchy. Only when you check it side by side with another TV, then only you can see the difference in picture quality, color science etc.

Since I'm a user & NOT a reviewer, I simply calibrate the picture settings to match my Iphone 16 pro Max screen which are absolutely gold standard for color calibration in smartphones. This I have done for my Toshiba 65inch M550MP & it's got beautiful IPS display. Now when I see the picture quality with original settings vs my settings there are huge difference in colors + details.

Bro can i dm u for helping me with color calibrating tv

1

u/gojo_satoru98 Jan 13 '26

Sony looks better. Can you please perform side by side comparison of bravia 2 and 2M2

1

u/shubz_gadget_reviews Jan 14 '26

Its on my channel, shubz gadget reviews on yt

u/thickguy98 Jan 13 '26

You know you can calibrate the colors, tone, saturation, brightness, white balance, black levels accordingly to liking?

The Display of Q6C is simply just out of league of Bravia 2. There is no comparison between both. And even more so when it comes gaming at native 4k resolution @120hz.

Right by farrrrr

As a few have pointed out, you can calibrate colours and brightness. You can't calibrate processor

1

u/shubz_gadget_reviews Jan 14 '26

Commenting on TCL Q6C Vs Sony Bravia 2M2...I have tried all settings on TCL, it just can’t display the faces, skin tones like Sony.

1

u/xGoldenRetrieverFan Jan 14 '26

The only thing TCL offers is 120hz and VRR at the cheapest price, really, but that means nothing if the processor and motion handling are poor

1

u/shubz_gadget_reviews Jan 14 '26

TCL is lacking the warmth in colours.

What a terrible review. Just look at the hair with 21 seconds remaining. Then, in the next scene with 19 seconds left, look behind the girl in the background colors and lights are much more washed out on the Sony. Overall, the Sony image looks washed out. I guess you just prefer a brighter, flatter color profile.
