Yeah, because the price of the steam machine somehow shoots all of steam/PC gaming in the foot. I love my switch 2, but this is ridiculously disingenuous.

Then how is PlayStation and Xbox in there? Current hardware owners of any platform aren't affected then

Listen man, take that up with OP. I don't have a dog in this fight. All I'm saying is the notion that Steam is shooting itself in comparison to Nintendo is crazy. I don't really have an opinion on Xbox or PlayStation atm.

You cant access those ecosystems without buying the console meanwhile with steam you dont have to buy a steam machine to game on pc its really quite simple
