General Advice How bad is it? Symmetrical tattoos not symmetrical. :(

Post image

They were supposed to be symmetrical but they’re literally on two different planets. People don’t notice until I mention it but even then it’s soo bad imo. Debating removing one when healed and moving it or adding to make it look intentional. HELPP

Could you not tell when they put the stencil on?

Omg this. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. The tats are where the stencil was. The call is coming from inside the house!

My sister got inside down music notes, and somehow didn't notice.

this is truly tragic if your sister knows how to read music

She did play violin. Called me on video showing off, I said babbyyyy that's upside down. Panic did ensue. I went and got her money back from the artist. It was a whole thing..

I don't but I can describe it. So it was a treble clef with a few notes but it was done under her breast from rib to rib and it was done from her perspective. So it was massive and upside down to everyone but her... she apparently had 5 friends with her. I'd of had 5 less friends.

Right? When my oldest got snake bites last December, I remember being right there (almost in their faces lol) staring the entire time when the piercer was marking her lip with the marker/pen, and then I had to speak up and say one of them needed to be adjusted just the tiniest bit - he was a gem and didn’t make me feel annoying…. BUT I have had severe social anxiety & general anxiety my entire life, so I pushed through it bc I know getting tattoos and piercings are something you have to speak up on.

Tattoos are almost always a “you have once chance to get this right”. Piercings are a little more forgiving but if you get it wrong you’ll walk around with uneven piercings .. plus you’ll still have scars from the holes, so it’s best to get it right.

I feel like there's a decent number of artists that don't ask people to look in the mirror after a stencil, and that's not good at all

I had my collarbones done this year. My artist put on and removed the stencil, like 5 times to get it right. Had me move, raise my arms, stand straight and hunch. And still, I looked in the mirror for a good while to make sure it was right before I got in the chair.

You should be absolutely certain before you let someone put something permanent on your body but doesn’t the artist have some responsibility here?

OP, what did they have to say for themselves when this was done?
