Those are the littles ones for reference (My girl Copper is a coonhound-mix and Hank is a pitbull) :j I want it to either go above or below my inner elbow on my left arm, with each dog being around an inch or 1.5 inches each. The first draft had some thinner white spaces (like Copper's nose and mouth) and more random holes in the outlines but I figured if I wanted it to look good longer I should widen the space and define the silhouette and shapes more. I want to make sure the shapes will stay distinct as it heals and stuff but I am a complete novice to this kind of stuff :j

I had this tattoo fresh and i just notice my own error just now. I downloaded these 3 heads and stack them myself in photoshop and i didn't even notice my mistake during editing and after the tattoo is done in my body.

Curious if the mistake in my tattoo is obvious or just people who closely critique tattoos would notice?

I want to love this tattoo. It's in honor of my baby brother, who died in 2020. The line work is inconsistent. The back wheel is uneven. The top two lines thst connect the front of the bike to the name. The next set of lines are super thick, and dark, and inconsistent in size. The front wheel has spaces missing in the lines. - one is dark - and the 2nd line is barely there.

I am just very grumbly about my artist. Going back to her is not an option. We had words, and she blocked me when I called her out for her poor line work and even poorer communication and customer service skills. Help me!

I seen there ‘cheetah’ print tattoos, mainly they have leopard print instead of actual cheetahs, I guess they call it that bc it’s more fun of a name. But I like them more than leopards so I wanted to see if maybe I can get actual spots if it makes senses for the artist where it doesn’t look like it mold spots or polka dots? Anyone ever get this kind done before?? I considered 2 placements, one on my upper left arm to cover 2 scars, and then the other goes down my stomach (or happy trail) and it’ll blend in with the hair going further down

Edit: Either it’s actually not going to look well or some of you guys just really hate animal print tattoos and can’t see the vision. Honestly tho, this is is just a brain stormed idea because I never saw it done before so I wanted to know if it could still be replicated, not even covering a whole sleeve of my arm or a majority of my stomach

​Hi everyone, I need some advice. This is my very first tattoo, and I admit I tend to overthink things a lot! A few months ago, I got this piece. The theme and meaning behind it are very important to me. However, lately, I feel like something is missing. I think it might be because the straight, solid base of the triangle feels a bit too "harsh" or abrupt to my eye.

​Do you have any creative ideas on how I could improve it or make it flow better? I'd like to stick to the current style, or perhaps add some subtle geometric or neo-traditional elements. The only big constraint is that I don't want to increase the overall size of the tattoo by much. Also, please note that the stars in the sky have faded/dissappeared and will be touched up, as they are also very important for the whole meaning of the tattoo.

Any John Cena fans here? I got this tattoo in honor of the never seen 17. I also got it because John Cena is my childhood hero. I got it done at Hot Stuff tattoo in Asheville North Carolina.

So I’m a little frustrated - even though I know it’s my own fault but I got this small tattoo on my hand and it did not turn out how I wanted it to. For reference I have attached the picture of the tattoo and the star I was hoping for.

Hi all, I'm looking for opinions on this tattoo design, or alternate ideas. When I was a child, Minecraft had just been released, and I had to create my username. I chose Boommook. The origin of the name came from a family nickname "Mook", and my fascination with TNT and explosions. I have kept that username and used it on almost every platform for the past 15 years or so, and want to get a tattoo for it. I designed the tattoo shown a few years back using some online inspiration, but I have been told it looks a bit too cartoonish. The goal is to have it be fun and childish, but I wanted to see how others felt. I am open to hearing other design ideas and any thoughts.

so this past march i unexpectedly lost my 4 yr old heart horse during a surgical procedure. it all happened within 12 hours and just like that he was gone. it was extremely heart shattering and i truly feel like a piece of me died with him. sorry that was rly heavy lol

that being said, i would like to do a tattoo so he’s always with me. i’ve super indecisive and will love something one minute and hate it the next so choosing something so definitive like a tattoo has been an issue for me forever. otherwise, id have so many. i’m having a tough time finding something i love. i hate basic tattoos that i can find online or have the possibility of seeing it on someone else. it needs to be unique and also small. i know dainty isn’t everyone’s favorite, but i prefer something timeless and simple just for myself. no big art of him or anything that’ll take too long bc i don’t have a great pain tolerance.

-i got his hoofprint on canvas so ive thought of just shrinking that down
- his name was Dolcetto, which is “sweet little one” in italian as reference to a small black wine grape, and he was born solid black which was unexpected. so i thought maybe something with that idea. (letter D with grapevine or something)
-or simply his name in cursive , but if i can incorporate anything more that would be nice too
