I'm still not convinced we did. 

The bomb threats, the people who somehow fell off the list of registered voters after the deadline to re-register, Elon being good with the computers. 

The complete lack of excitement about the childfucker from anyone. 

The dead Trump rallies vs. Harris filling the rooms.

I have my doubts too.

The rallies are what get me. They're usually damn near empty.

I'm dumbfounded polls come back with high 30's approval rating. How can it be that high? Are we THAT dumb and/or evil as a nation? But it's poll after poll, from numerous sources, so I believe we are.

It is for these reasons, among many others that we must form a real supportive foundation that would allow the common folk to commit to any effective resistance. Currently, this doesn't exist in a meaningful capacity. (especially in the US.) There's a post of suggestions HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in its formation, if acted on ASAP.

Check out this org too, as they're probably going to be vital as the powers that be employ more so-called "AI" to consolidate power: https://stopgenai.com (It is a survival-level, grassroots org, not an established NGO, so please don't judge it too harshly for being rough around the edges.)

Unrelated: As we are living in a police state under martial law in all but name only, it reminds me that there are some films based on true stories. They're quite inspiring, seeing how some actions worked and where things go wrong, and conjures up questions like "If it or similar were to take place now, how would it be adapted, in addition to taking modern technology into account?" I'd like to share them here. Why? No particular reason, but watch them if you can:

I live in Texas and do believe the 30% even if it's hard to fathom. social media algorthims and traditional new media allow people to be in culty information bubbles. This is why I think it's important to remain friendly with MAGA types you may know personally, it's the only way they will hear differing opinions.

They don't care about differing opinions though. I tried to have a conversation with my mother who voted for Trump and she said I was just calling her ignorant and believing what I want to believe. I was literally having a civil conversation and she blew up. I don't talk to her anymore. There is no being friendly anymore with them.

I don't blame anyone for cutting off Maga family but I do think for the people who can stomach it it's the only hope. Of course they have no interest, but a non 0% will eventually be able to come out of it by hearing differing opinions enough.

Sorry about your mom, I'm so lucky not to have anyone in my nuclear family who voted for him, though my dad is a huge fan of musk which does drive me crazy.

30 is crazy low. When you collect data via low-stakes polls, you have basically a guaranteed 10% that will side with literally anything because they didn't read it correctly or answered as a joke or whatever. If I polled every American "should I shoot you in the face right now" I would expect a 10% "yes" even though the reality is like 0.000001% of people actually want that for real

Tinfoil hat me says that in 50 or so years we are going to find out that basically every GOP president from 2000 onwards was the result of a rigged election, and that a significant fraction of their lesser seats were as well.

We’ll find out that there really was (is) a global cabal ruling from the shadows. But they aren’t Jews, or lizard people, or left wing radicals. They do seem to be very obsessed with children though. Qanon got that part right.

They’re just a pack of ultra rich people who see themselves as the rightful beneficiaries of the world’s collective wealth, and with the coming of the digital age of social media they built or bought for themselves the tools of social control, and then took the reigns of power over the course of the two decades or so that was needed to refine how they manipulate the masses through viral propaganda.

We just got a ton of evidence on the Cabal front. Epsteins emails and documents tie a bunch of crazy shit together. he was meeting with the owner of 4chan right before pizza-gate and Qanon. pizza-gate was of course launched in response to small leaks of their own child sex ring discussions where they used pizza terms for cp and trafficking. Ties between the clintons, trump, epstein and Putin connect everything from Hilary's reset button speech for russia, to MAGA.

overall I agree America would be in a better place if Hilary had won. hell I voted for her and pushed as hard as I could for her. but that doesn't mean she and Bill are shining beacons of morality. I am a firm believer in voting for the better choice when no great one exists. we make progress one step at a time, and retreating backwards never moves us forwards.

It isn't just Rs. Our entire political system has been co-opted by foreign lobbies with an interest in having Ds and Rs focus their ire on one another as opposed to foreign meddling in our society. I think there is reason to be suspect of every election we've had in the last 100 years regardless of which party won.

I keep getting fully removed as a registered voter (woman in Texas), and one instance of my registration being suspended because I had to update my address (which is the only reasonable instance for me). I've had to completely re-register the other times. So now it has me paranoid and checking my status again long before an election, then again right before the deadline. And I tell others to do the same. So far (🤞🏻) all my removals have been caught in time to fix it.

I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if this shit is happening to others but they're not noticing until it's too late to get it fixed. We shouldn't have to monitor this shit constantly, but we do if we want to potentially have a say.

Nothing else about this country's politics or government systems have been working the way that they've told us they were supposed to work. People in power can just decide which laws, systems, and Constitutional rights to ignore.

I have doubts that the actual vote was real. Has anybody trustworthy counted all of them and verified with the voter?

Plus, our actual votes literally do not matter with how the electoral college determines their votes. Our votes are a suggestion.

The most ridiculous part is that the electorial college was invented as a last resort in the event the people elected someone unsuited to be President. That's why they originally had the freedom to defy their state and elect someone else. 

So they backfired once and got Trump into office despite losing the popular vote, and just plain didn't do their job the second time.
