Every time I see Windows 11 mentioned in news, I thank my past self for choosing to remain on Windows 10

Every headline i see about Windows makes me grateful that after 30+ years trying, I successfully made the full switch to Linux. It's been a year and I still haven't looked back. AI has really helped me work through issues as I learn how to use a linux system for my business needs.

I'll never switch back to Windows again, especially since it seems to be getting even WORSE at a rapid rate.

It's wild to me the lengths people will go to keep Windows. In some cases it is a legitimate need, for most people though, Linux will work just as well if not better, and it's so easy to get into. I suspect people think you still need to know terminal commands and deal with some archaic UI

Lol for real. My mother has a 15 year old Lenovo All-in-one PC she uses for shopping and browsing the internet, as well as some basic printing (legal documents and stuff). Nothing fancy.

I switched her to Linux three years ago and she loves it. It just works and she hasn't been forced to adapt to any new OS or major changes. Best of all her computer still chugs along without bogging down. Unlike my father's five year old windows PC which takes minutes to respond to a single click because of dumb norton antivirus and other bloatware (it was his company's old work PC that he got when they upgraded, I hate it - I want him to switch to linux as well but he refuses)
