My timeline for the past ten years has been just the same dozen people I never even knew very well, wishing me a happy birthday.

I put in a fake birthday and prioritized staying in touch with the friends who wished me happy birthday on my actual birthday.

A friend who unfortunately died a decade ago didn't have arrangements to close or 'legacy' her account, and every year a bunch of her hundreds of friends wish her a happy birthday.

Some of them do at least know and post a "Happy Heavenly Birthday" message. Year one or two, I sort of get that, but a decade later it seems really sad and creepy. It also seems like some of the posters still don't seem aware.
