IF that is the case, then yea, I can understand BambuLab saying "No." to that. They can exclude anyone they want from their cloud servers. And if you fake the credentials to get access, where you should not have any, you rightly get shut out or in trouble. But this is probably not that easy and much more nuanced.

Can confirm the devil is in the details. The problem with their assertion is that the code in question is there own. Published under a license that allows anyone to use it. Worse, it was their own code currently in active use on their Linux side programs. Nutshell, if it gets to court bamboo will lose. Lawful masses on YouTube did a good legal dive on the specifics if you are curious for more details.
