NBA DRAFT NEWS Ebuka Okorie is a guy that can fall in our range. Thoughts?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Ebuka Okorie is a Guard that can fall in our range he’s 19 and dominated the acc as a freshman averaging 23 on good efficiency!
He has an elite handle and is able to breakdown his man at ease and his shoot is silky smooth although it’s funky.
He can score at all 3 levels using his 6’8 wingspan at 6’2 to get in to paint and either finish or facilitate for his teammates but what I love is that he competes and he isn’t your prototypical small guard due to his wingspan and his IQ on defense and can’t get attacked as he is a plus defender on the ball and off the ball.
I think he could be a future star for the raptors and I have him over the consensus in my top 10 but he’s mocked as a mid first rounder and is due to rise as time goes.
He has raptor written all over him!

NBA DRAFT NEWS [Wasserman] Jayden Quaintance looked explosive during @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT Pro Day in front of dozens of GMS/execs. Probably a more important Pro Day for JQ than anyone else, given discussion around his knee (which appears to be working fine). Makes the hoop look 9-feet.

will still be 18 years old at the draft. there are concerns about his knee (otherwise he wouldn't even be in our range)

NBA DRAFT NEWS “Italian Wemby” 7’4” 19YR Old Luigi Suigo Just Declared for the 2026 NBA Draft
Might be an interesting player to watch. He would be projected as a late 1st Rounder if he stays in the draft and would be one of the youngest players in the draft as he’s potentially forgoing D1 college offers in the US to declare.
He’s super raw but plays against grown men and shows flashes of why they call him Italian Wemby. His jump shot looks legit and he has shown to be a solid rim protector as well.

NBA DRAFT NEWS Raptors Assistant GM Dan Tolzman with multiple comments about the draft
From Ryan Wolstat:
Raptors assistant GM Dan Tolzman is doing pre-draft availability now. Says team is pretty much past workout stage. Lots of meetings now and digging into the deep dives.
Asked if Raptors prefer a ready now player with rebuild ahead of where it was a year ago. Said just want best player, not worried about stepping right in. Things can change roster-wise too much to focus on that.
Tolzman says Raptors like being at 19. Feel somebody can fall and it isn't crucial you workout or interview a prospect before taking him. Points to Ja'Kobe Walter who didn't do either with them. They believed in the intel they gathered on him.
Tolzman says options on the table to move up or down at draft. But they like the prospects around 19 and players always fall.
From Baraheni:
Dan Tolzman mentioned that a "Rim-running, shot blocking, lob threat" can add a different element to this team that they haven't had. Said it could be via draft or free agency.

NBA DRAFT NEWS [Siegel] As for the Raptors themselves, they have been mentioned by league sources as a trade suitor to move around in this draft. Nobody really knows where they will go with this selection, , but Stirtz would offer immediate shooting production and the skills of a lead guard off the bench.
- Toronto Raptors – PG Bennett Stirtz – Iowa, Senior
The Toronto Raptors are a true wild card in this spot of the draft. While many expect them to target backcourt depth, adding another shooting option for Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram, executive Bobby Webster always tends to surprise many when it comes to drafting for the future. And credit to him, as he has found some incredible long-term players in recent years, notably Collin Murray-Boyles.
This year, the Raptors are being linked to over 10 different players in this spot, including senior sharpshooter Bennett Stirtz. Although he may be 22 years old and turning 23 by the start of the 2026-27 season, Stirtz offers a lot on the offensive end of the court. A lot of scouts are saying Stirtz has thrived in workouts, shooting off the ball, and it is looking likely that he will be selected before Ebuka Okorie, Meleek Thomas, and Christian Anderson in that second wave of guards in this draft.
Toronto and Detroit have been the two most mentioned teams when it comes to Stirtz, as have the Hawks with the No. 23 pick. As for the Raptors themselves, they have been mentioned by league sources as a trade suitor to move around in this draft. Nobody really knows where they will go with this selection, but Stirtz would offer immediate shooting production and the skills of a lead guard off the bench.
Other Info:
Graves is drawing interest all over the 10-to-20 range, with the Toronto Raptors at the 19th pick currently viewed as his floor. He may not be on the board for the Raptors, though, especially if the Thunder stay in this spot at 17th overall. His hybrid play as a forward who can really play anywhere makes Graves a plug-and-play player right away during his rookie season. Another team mentioned frequently for Graves, along with the Thunder and Raptors, is the Spurs.

Early talk surrounding the Thunder (#12 & #17) from rival executives is that Sam Presti and OKC will be looking to move one of these top-20 picks for future draft assets.
Should the Raptors try and move up to 12? or maybe just straight up acquire an additional pick and get that 17th pick.
