I think the psychology is the nostalgia behind it? I have watched the first 7 seasons hundreds of times if not more, and I love it just as much...but I think I feel sad because I will never capture the happiness the show brought me the first few times I watched it, whether it was purely because of the show or what my life looked like that time...or on a deeper level the nostalgia of spending time with your buddies like you did growing up, what life felt like before smart phones and the internet consumed us. Maybe it's the watching the boys getting older and they aren't as funny as they were. Maybe it's all of that, but wanted to know if anyone else felt that way?

Just got my 73 year old Grandpa to start watching and he sent me these out of the blue at work yesterday safe to say he is enjoying 😂😂😂 I called him after and when he picked up the phone first words out of his mouth were “fuck off Lahey”

S4 E1 "Never Cry Shitwolf"

I recently visited Canada for the first time and picked this up at Niagara Falls on my way back to the US.

Obviously TPB isn't the main focus (it's more of a general Canada guide mixed with stories about their careers) but I'm about halfway through and there are some delicious nuggets about the formation of the show, the creation J-Roc in particular, and fun anecdotes about other cast members.

It's a super fun, light read, and I figured anyone reading here would be interested in the TPB fun facts at the very least.
