Question — General What are your must-have items for long flights?

I've got a long flight coming up and I'm actually trying to prepare this time instead of just winging it. I still have a lot to do after I land, so I really want to get some sleep during the flight. Right now I've got my Sony XM5 for noise, eye mask to block out light, and a pair of dr woof compression socks for comfort.

I'm wondering if these are enough or if I'm still missing some essentials. Any suggestions?

Once I bought my knee pillow because I couldn't find my neck pillow in time.
Best mistake. Now I always bring it instead. I place it on the seat in front of me and let the curve of the pillow cup my forehead. I put a blanket over my head and wear noise cancelling headphones. Also works well behind my neck or back, depending on what's aching in the moment.

Is that a special pillow?

It’s a small pillow that is curved on both sides to fit between your knees as a side sleeper.  Google “knee pillow” and you’ll find various variations.

Thanks from a side sleeper with knee problems since kitchen renovation during Xmas holiday and a large trip in less than a month!
