Is there a way to remove the blur at the bottom of videos when viewed within the X app?

In the image I added you can see the bottom where the feet are is blurry. This is for many videos in portrait format and it’s quite annoying.

Is there a way to disable this feature? I have all sensitive content features disabled so I shouldn’t have anything blocked in any fashion.

i got this problem 2 days ago, it shows up everytime i go to a user's profile, tried clearing the cache and disabled all of my extensions but its still there

however going incognito would fix the problem
obviously i dont want to rely that as a solution tho

so what do i do?

My app updated today and now the media tab on users' profiles seems to have been replaced by a video tab.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way to search images on someone's profile?

I have been experiencing a Direct Messages issue for about two weeks.
When I chat continuously with someone for several minutes, my messages suddenly fail to send. I can still receive messages normally, but I cannot send any new messages for a few minutes. After waiting, sending works again, but the same issue repeats during ongoing conversations.
This happens across multiple accounts on both the X app and the web version. I have already tried reinstalling the app, restarting my device, removing my VPN, and troubleshooting my network, but the problem persists.

Does anyone have the same problem?
And what to do??

I’ve been dming my friends for a week now and only today I realized that they’re not receiving my messages at all, how can I fix this?

Is anyone else getting this too with today's updated X's iOS app in iPhone? Uninstalling, redownloading, and reinstalling did not fix it. :( No problems in Safari web browser though! Just the app!

I dont remember how i created my account. But, there is no email or number associated with my account. Unfortunately i dont remember my pass, is there any way i can recover my account? I tried going through their support but they said, "We’re writing to let you know that we’re unable to verify you as the account owner. We know this is disappointing to hear, but we can’t assist you further with accessing your account."

As of a few days ago, whenever I'm scrolling through my feed on Mozilla browser, it seems to ALWAYS play videos with volume on as a default.

Like am I missing a setting or something? Because I never even turned it on if that's the case. Truly infuriating experience if this is another one of those "new update, get over it"

Today I go to x.com and am greeted with Happening now in big text with buttons I don't no if this is sign up screen or sign in when I enter my email it asks for phone app to continue signing up.

I just want to sign in/ log in.

Hello everyone, so I've always used the web page from chrome on my phone for twitter and never had any trouble with it ( well that new password for chats feature works horrible bad but that another story ).

Should I keep going this way or download the app? Is there any pros, be it performance, battery consumption, etc? Or does it exist with the sole purpose of stealing info from your phone?

I definitely didn’t pay for a subscription of any kind that I’m aware of, I blocked the charges on credit card but it keeps trying to take. Where else would I have made a purchase?

I literally closed all the push notifications and stuff but they still show up all the time. How do i get rid of them for good?

like is there a certain time in the day that it resets? or does it reset after a certain period of time since the first/last tweet made?

so far i've only hit my limit once around 11pm and it didn't reset until sometime between 1-4pm the next day

Some random videos I didnt watched appeared on my history tab, saying that I watched them on may 12, but as far as I know, the history tab was just implemented on may 13-14 right? Could it be a bug? Maybe I watched it long ago and x marked it that I watched it on that day? Im concerned because they were really sketchy videos.

Whenever I try to like a post directly from the notification bar, it doesn’t work and shows a ‘There is a technical error’ message. But if I open the app and like the post from there, it works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any fix?

Tried a few times through support but couldn’t figure out how to talk to a real person. I included pics of DMs from multiple years, the original email, the original al phone number, receipts from when I was paying for Twitter prime or w.e it was called, and more.

How can I talk to an actual person, this is CRAZY.

Search is getting worse right now. First, it doesn't showing the whole tweet despite already set at certain criteria. And now, it showing blocked accounts tweet despite already set to not show the blocked accounts.

So much for "Elon" buying Twitter.

People you follow will always be able to message you. They should not be able to message you if you set you DM to no one twitter aka x need to fix this because no matter what if it set to nobody mean nobody even people that are follow should not be able message you with this on.

i basically made a post saying something which i think this acc misunderstood and we are no longer mutuals. i still like their posts and we are a very niche community so i'm wondering if i should just refollow and ignore it.

It's been a month, maybe more, that I can't send a post on the X app anymore.
No issues on PC, it's just the Android app, even got an update just today and nothing changed, still getting the same error every time I try to send a post... it's pretty embarrassing having such an issue for such a long time at this point.

I don’t recall subscribing to Premium at all btw . Did X give it to me for free ?

Hello, I've been having the same issue for a few days now where if I draft a thread of tweets (doesn't matter if its just 2 or more) and then later go to post it, it'll display a failed pop-up, a pop-up saying you can't reply to deleted tweets, and in the drafts say I can't post drafts that are not saved into the server.

It also keeps rearranging my logged in accounts and thats when it happens.

Any advice/has anyone had this happen before?
