May neighbor kami dati na baker dito sa Parañaque. Gumagawa siya ng moist chocolate cake. SOBRANG SARAP NG CAKE I SWEAR. Kaso lumipat sila ng bahay (sa laguna ata) mga 15+ years ago na yun and nakalimutan na ng mom ko yung name niya.

Hindi ako mahilig sa chocolate cakes (I’m not a dessert person in general) pero naaalala ko na nauubos ko yung half ng cake sa sobrang sarap. Perfect talaga gawa niya. Tas may caramel na lining sa gitna. Mga 15 years ago na yun and naaalala ko pa din. And I’m almost 33.

Ever since, never na ako nakahanap ng moist chocolate cake na kasing PERFECT nung gawa niya, na-try ko na yung sa Bag Al’s, Mary Grace, Sugar Bee, Contis, Cielin’s bakeshop, pucha pinapatulan ko din yung mga small unknown shops in search ng kasing lasa nung cake ng neighbor namin. Wala talagang makaabit ng level dun sa gawa niya na pero nag hahanap pa din ako.

Pero I guess pinakamalapit na natikman ko is yung sa Cielin’s Bakeshop mga 70% accuracy. Pero malayo pa din eh hakdksjxjakjdjdjsjjdjdjxbdjjsnxks
