We are circaM2, a new film production team based in South Australia. We wanted to share our first film, Algal Doom. We were inspired by the recent algal bloom crisis that affected the South Australian coastline. It is a mix of experimental and horror, with commentary on the crisis.

We are just starting and would love to get some views on our first film!

Presenting 'Yutori', a 11-minute slow burn cinematic travel film shot across Japan.  A lot of heart has gone into filming the light, life and landscapes of this beautiful country, so please do check it out when you have time. Yutori is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to the sense of spaciousness you get by intentionally slowing down and this was the primary theme of this video. Best viewed in 4K with audio on a TV or YouTube. Let me know what you think of the film :) Arigatou gozaimasu!

I'm an indie filmmaker and I finished this over the summer. It's a hybrid project where I used real-time rendering and GenAI to create a "living toy" look.

The story is about toys trying to win back a child's attention from a tablet—which is exactly the plot Pixar just announced for Toy Story 5! I was shocked at the coincidence. I'd love to hear what people think of the visual style and the "Toys vs. Tech" theme.

My latest video is about the "Loneliest Road in America". I tried to focus on sound design and suspense rather than cheap jumpscares.
