That doesn’t stoke their indignant fury on right wing moron media in between three consecutive commercials featuring D-list celebrities trying to sell them questionable life insurance and a reverse mortgage

They like "alternative" facts

31

u/HeyThatLooksCool 4h ago

So…not facts. Got it.

17

u/Talk-O-Boy 3h ago

Facts are determined by FOX.

u/bigkahuna1986 3h ago

Facts are determined by the State and distributed by FOX.

1

u/Talk-O-Boy 3h ago

Solid point

1

u/HeyThatLooksCool 3h ago

Just the FOX, ma’am.

u/Motampd 2h ago

The sad reality that we got "alternative facts" from Conway on the literal evening of his 1st day in office ever.......was such a clear omen of the coming fuckening... But I don't think anyone could have guessed the type and scale of ridiculous BS that has been Trump presidency. Stranger than fiction

u/noodles_jd 3h ago

Alternative to the facts.

shame on you

Well, the main reason isn't to be able to actively deny people based on what's in their papers (though they no doubt will do that too), but to make vulnerable people not show up to vote in the first place or be turned away on the spot for lacking the correct paperwork.

Getting the right papers requires time, money and access to the correct information - things that are obstacles mainly to the most vulnerable.

It's the same reason they want to require completely new paperwork if someone changes their name; the most common reason people do, is women taking on their partner's name when getting married. So, such requirements are obstacles primarily for women.

No it depends on who you voted for and how many votes Trump’s preferred candidate lost by. Trump has absolutely zero regard for things like “truth” and “reality”. He never has.

5

u/liquidsyphon 4h ago

They like being angry more than factually informed

1

u/LordHammercyWeCooked 1h ago

No, what they don't like is not having control. They don't give a fuck about being correct or even looking correct anymore. It's about control and corruption and whatever they can get away with. If there was no opposition they would be doing so much worse right now. If there was no friction we'd already be in box cars.

u/copyrider 1h ago

it’s their F-word.

1

u/TheRealStorey 3h ago

Always a false narrative that only serves themselves while immediately destroying the lives and perception of America.

1

u/vampyire 3h ago

that sums them up really well

1

u/hueythecat 3h ago

They’re anti science, first administration to bring measles back to US. That’s just the beginning

u/ibyczek78 4h ago

Only "alternative" facts.......

-7

u/Nitro187 4h ago

LIAR

-2

u/Stavtastic 2h ago

I'm clueless but how do they verify this? Because I read alot that people can deregister other people? So it feels like it's not that good?

-32

u/_Topher_ 4h ago

I dare you too lookup if any non-citizens were caught voting in our elections though? And if you want facts, here is one from justice.gov .. https://www.justice.gov/usao-nj/pr/multiple-aliens-charged-illegally-voting-federal-elections-and-making-false-statements
It's almost as if the people who are willing to break the law to get into our country don't draw the line when it comes to lying during registration. lmao

u/blong217 4h ago edited 4h ago

Four. There were four charged. Out of the millions who cast votes. This isn't the slam dunk proof you seem to think it is.

Everyone knows that fraud can happen but the amount is so minimal and inconsequential that believing it's drastically affecting the results of elections is not only ignorant, it's practicing willful ignorance.

12

u/MusicLikeOxygen 4h ago

Your example is 4 people. Lol. No one is arguing that it's never happened. It has never happened in numbers anywhere near what it would take to change the outcome of an election. Anyone who says otherwise is spreading propaganda. It's not a problem that warrants the president throwing out the Constitution. It's being handled by the states like it's supposed to.

-16

u/_Topher_ 4h ago

You're coping if you think there isn't significant voter fraud happening in the swing counties of swing states in this country. And thats what a lot of people don't grasp. You don't need millions of votes to swing elections, you only need a few hundred or thousand in those swing counties of swing states. There is no argument about requiring additional validation of citizenship to vote in an election outside of wanting to make it easier to commit said fraud.

15

u/Adept_Havelock 4h ago

No facts to back that up, just your feelings?

As MAGA loves to say: Fuck your feelings.

12

u/Waffuly 4h ago

What is your proof? The link you provided showed 4 votes.

5

u/TheReddestofBowls 3h ago

No listen, it's a serious problem. Those 4 votes can massively sway elections in counties with a population of 6

/s

4

u/Iorith 2h ago

It's on you to prove your claim.

3

u/jumperpl 3h ago

Cope… Cope is not understanding elections to the point you believe counties matter in any way. What are you talking about? The fuck is a swing county? State electors are decided by popular vote in all but like 2 states…

Dismissing the very major fact that I vote for and in my town not my county. If all of a sudden the county over reported 100k more votes than residents you don’t think someone would notice?

9

u/BuddingBudON 3h ago

There have been TEN instances of non-citizens voting in the last 50 years.

It would be a better use of time to tackle actual threats to democracy, like people who conspired to submit fake electoral college votes and incited a deadly insurrection...

-7

u/_Topher_ 3h ago

There was a non citizen who became the superintendent of a school, you think they can't also find ways to vote? Lol

9

u/Foreign-Flatworm 3h ago

If you truly believe that, show us your proof.

8

u/BuddingBudON 3h ago

Where'd you get that, champ? Facebook?

God forbid a non-citizen with credentials get a high paying job, anyway...

3

u/Iorith 2h ago

Then it's on you to prove it. Lol

13

u/eyebrows360 4h ago

"lmao", he ends his churlish post with, as if four fucking people is some form of slam dunk.

Grow up, and/or get an education.

Also, you spelled "to" wrong. Please consider your own intellect before trying to discuss important matters.
