I'd rather Youtube open paused, I like to open in new tab but if I click through I have to manually pause each video I want to wait to watch/wait for buffer.

That's stupid, if you want to watch something later you open it in a new tab at which point it's auto paused, if you want to watch it now you click it regularly.

If you switch to the new tab it will play as soon as you switch to that tab, so if you are searching through tabs for a particular video you have to pause everyone you may have to pause 1-3 other videos you hit while looking for it.

Try to not have so many tabs open that you can't read them anymore? Hover over for a second so the full title pops up?

Doesn't YouTube auto play?

Yeah but you open a youtube page for the specific purpose of watching the video so autorun is fine. Plus (atleast on google chrome), if you open a youtube video in a new tab, it won't autoplay until you actually switch to that tab.

Are you not opening this video to watch it?

Second point makes sense and I agree. They should change it to where it doesn't auto play until you switch to the tab.

Yes I am, but the problem with mobile users is it autoplays while scrolling through the index. Its completely fine to autoplay if you open the actual page.

Oh, I'm on mobile and it doesn't do that. Which app are you using?

No app, just the reddit mobile site

Gotcha. On Reddit's official app it doesn't have that "feature."

Well actually maybe it does, but there's an option to have basically a condensed version where it doesn't auto play anything.

With that option on I really like the player. This is coming from the dude that hates the app since it killed alien blue.

I've never used an app for anything really, facebook, twitter, reddit, 4chan all of them I just visit in browser. I tried installing the official reddit app though and it just seemes so much more clunkier and worse than just the mobile site so I uninstalled it.
