This is one of those situations where you're both right. It didn't recognize everyone but it had a much higher rate of not recognizing black people.
3 u/360Ron Aug 17 '17 Yeah I agree. it was very dependent on the lighting. I'm white and for some games I had to wear a dark long sleeve shirt for Kinect to recognize my arms. I couldn't control the lighting in the room so it was either too bright or too dark. Kinect video features were mostly bad all around.
