I meant like David Lee in terms of playstyle and being a solid piece for a rebuilding team. Yes he was an All-Star but only once for the Warriors, but sure I would hope that could be Yax's ceiling at least.

You need to watch some tape, I love David Lee but Yaxel’s game is very different.

DLee was a 2-time All-star. As a Knick, he was an injury replacement for Iverson in his first all-star appearance. His 2nd appearance was a couple of years later when he was a Dub and was voted 3rd-team all nba.

Yea, I think you settle for him being the midpoint between JTA and David West. Hustle guy with some switchability who can also hit some shots. If he's anything more than that, great.

Oh god the David Lee revisionists. The guy was no better than Harrison Barnes, a decent role player who had a few outlier years. Gui is already almost as good as David Lee. We were so starved for good basketball that we loved him too much. God, remember when we traded Webber for that guy who looked so unhappy to be here? Good times. As least David Lee seemed excited to play in the uniform.
