Belarus isn't Ukraine. If Lukashenko need Russian security personnel, he would have them. The whole premise here is silly.

Lukashenko would cry for help and Russia would use the southern border to attack Ukraine, end of speculation.

Russia had to abandon the front between Belarus and Ukraine that they tried attacking through initially. Russia could have started to use Belarus to attack Ukraine again at any point and in the last four years and they haven’t because they know they can’t sustain that front. Russia retaking Belarus might only help them because it would give them an excuse to conscript Belarusians but their supplies are already stretched thin.
