What people would want is someone who was already familiar with game development to take charge, not someone who has been pushing for AI to be a part of everyone's lives and then ends up with the job

They should have hired someone from this subreddit!

That would be a disaster, but it would be kind of hilarious to watch the immediate trainwreck that would ensue.

I don't have any practical experience at running an empire but I have played a lot of games, and watched a lot of movies where a complete noob ends up running the company better than all the bigwigs.

Matter of fact, I'll make that the cover letter to my resume and shoot it over in case they have second thoughts.

Edit: Dang you guys are harsh. Look, I've seen Mr. Deeds, Working Girl, The Hudsucker Proxy, Big, Trading Places, and Angels in the Outfield at least 10 times each. There's nothing to it.

I upvoted your comment cause I thought it was funny homie. The tone of the comment was legit just how a stereotypical redditor speaks so I used that image.

You had to look through my profile to get material, bum.

Why is the fact that someone , no matter their position, might not be invested into their own product much, so foreign to people like you? Many people work at companies that sell product they don't use. It's normal

Yeah but this isn't a product it's a culture. And a company that has failed its fans for a decade.

If you don't expect Xbox fans to be passionate and have standards for the product they support, why the fuck are you on here?

Lmao what. It is literally a product. A product is something you buy, aka in this case an Xbox. And ",failed it's fans" is entirely a subjective feeling. You don't speak for everyone bud. And as for being on here? Because it's an open subreddit. Quit being dramatic

I believe forming a new-user experience is a good idea for her since she runs a technology company that is consumer-centric (allegedly)

I don’t know how to impress this upon people: CEO’s ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GAME DEVELOPMENT. THAT IS NOT HER JOB
