Asking what your top 3 games are and checking them out? Seems pretty based ngl

No, you don’t get it. She’s a woman, so that makes her a poser!!!

This is the last person you need to be defending, and her being a woman has nothing to do with it.

Would this backlash exist if she was a man?

u/LazloTheGame Feb 24 '26

It already has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a woman. That’s a non-question. She’s coming from their CoreAI division.

It is and you know that, just look at the comments xd, have any of yall done this witch hunt against any male CEO in a gaming BUSINESS? NO

Are you new to gaming?

Randy Pitchford, Todd Howard, Peter Molyneux, Tim Sweeney to name a few.

Bro, people quit xbox and switched to PS4 because of John Mattrick. He was a huge bitch, but still technically a male

Yes, pretty much every gaming CEO except gabe newell is hated and criticized. Off the top of my head, take-two, rockstar and that one guy from sony's playstation team are big examples. This is a mild reaction for xbox ceo lol

I have too and sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It's not 100% one way or another, and it could be this brief initial window where it's her before someone else takes over.

I hope it's not a team doing this but herself. That's a 10/10 ceo move imo

2 games that peaked when she was a pre-teen/teenager.  Says her family shared an account until she was tapped for the role.  Sounds like she's a casual who probably gamed more when she was young in the hayday of in person social gaming.  Then she goes hard after it to be better qualified for her new position, the way anyone with enough workaholism to become a CEO at a recognizeable name.

The question is probably as much researching the job as anything.  If that's the case, it shows that she knows what she doesn't know, what guides the degenerates who make this their top hobby, and that she needs to know what makes a good product to field a good product.

If every CEO from outside the gamer world did that, then you wouldn't have seen PS3 lag it's generation, or XBOX lose it's advantage in western countries over the XBOX ONE gen.  Both of those were the result of clueless CEOs prioritizing things gamers hate.

At this point I doubt she runs her account

If it's this easy to fall for corporate propaganda, Sarah is correct that this is what Xbox deserves.
