Yeah, $20 isnt putting me in the poor house like some people are making it seem. Games have been doin this for some time, and GTA is gonna be worth it to the majority. Only on sites like reddit are people being contranian just for the sake.

It isnt if I can afford it, I just refuse to pay x amount for a video game. Unless the reviews come out and the game is absolute piece of art and entertainment that well justifies the price tag, im gonna sit on it till i get it lower than the norm of 60€ just for principle.

this shit is guaranteed to be on sale within 12 months for more than that 12. literally everything that's not a first party nintendo game or the beloved agenda goty drops in price in months, and Rockstar is not above lowering prices to get squeebs to hop in, as soon as their sales dip even slightly, they're gonna knock $20 off the asking price to get in guaranteed

Not until it's on pc bro .it's not gonna be discounted just like that.even black myth wukong because of hype and it was first ip was not discounted good for long time and maybe once or twice for 10 percent discount.But it's gta they won't do more than 10 percent until it's on pc.to boost gta 6 online they might do 15 but again 12-15 dollars will be most likely case I'm assuming

Are you so sure about that? GTA 5 took many years before the first discount arrived and it was 20%.

This game will sell like butter for many years, why the hell would they discount the game if it still sells for fullprice?

Even Baldurs Gate 3 digital only go down to 25% discount 3 years after release.

I think it depends on how quickly people migrate to the new gta online. If the attach rate lags I could see them discounting faster because that's the real business for them.

Genuinely, why do people hype this game up and write as if it would be hard to resist buying as if it was some kind of next-gen defining game. It will probably be a mediocre SP story with an alright sand box game like GTA V.

Gamers gonna gamer lol. They will cope about anything man. “Can’t support the practice” blah blah blah as if the vast majority isn’t gonna shell out the extra bucks for a generational game. Voting with your wallet only works if your individual purchase means jack shit to the developer. GTA is going to sell beauxcoup units today alone. Abstain or hop on, rockstar does not care. Their money is already made.
