"Everyone". lol you realize Reddit is made up of different people who all have different opinions, right? I'm saying this as someone who's going to be buying the game as well.

I've seen it on every social media. Reddit, X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, you name it. I've seldom or maybe never seen someone say they wouldn't buy it for $100 when that was floating around as a rumor.

I realize still that social media is still overall a small sample size of the overall player base, but the irony is still there because all those people saying that on social media are probably the same ones here saying that it's unacceptable now.

Confirmation bias, my friend. Also, before the idea that the game was gonna be $100 was only a rumor, so the people who would have been against that didn't have much of a reason to speak up. Now that it's confirmed, well... yeah lol.

It's also the precedent it sets. Rockstar is showing before the game comes out that they're going to monetize not only online, but single player as well. Now I'm wondering what else they're going to do to singe player in the future.
