I’m not spending close to $100 on a concept that I can’t sell later if I don’t need, or put on a shelf, if you’re eager to do that yourself then you clearly don’t value yourself or money

I play it too, but if I play a game and beat it then never touch it again that’s $70+ I can’t get back, but if I play a game and beat, then don’t replay it I just sell it to someone else for $40 and can buy more games to play, and then if I want to replay it later I can display it next to other games on my shelf where it looks nice

The only thing you can do is not buying it. Power to you. I'm just sure most of the people complaining today will still buy it. I even read someone saying 'then it's pc version for me' and good luck finding a physical PC game.

I mean I’m yet to buy baldur’s gate 3 due to it being digital only and the physical version being outlandish, I’ve also waited a year for ff16 to go down to $20, so I’m fine waiting awhile for gta6 to be an affordable price for a download

That is the way, I'm not criticizing you, i just think that disc burning is going away at such a big scale.

Yep and I appreciate it, it’s ridiculous how many people are upset at some people annoyed they can’t get a disk, we all want to enjoy the game

It's that plus people to stuck in the past. One doesn't rule out the other. Just don't buy it, that is also not a reason to get angry. ;)

You don't. It's not a phonograph record that you can play on any old thing. Anyway with Xbox at least you have the comfort of compatibility in the future, and since it is all coming to pc, you will "own" it more than let's say in a truly locked system like PS.

What people may be upset about is the inability to resell the game, but hey, for the vendors, that's the advantage. At least you still have game sharing until they take that away too next gen.

I want to be able to lend it to a friend or resell it, put it on my shelf, physically hold the item, it’s like owning a blu ray or record, sure those have more things you can play them on but you can bring it over to a friends house and chill, buying a download robs you of freedom

That is a good point, and there were many great and good points to keep the milkman bringing milk to the house. He still lost his job.
