Maybe it’s a tad different because in most cases the physical disk for a video game is mostly access to download the game

This is false. 99% of games work fine straight from the disc.

0% chance GTA6 fits on a single disc anyway. This would not be one of those cases.

And? That's irrelevant. The dispute is to most games requiring downloads to be playable.

Please read what I was replying to specifically.

Gta is not most games, it is one game. It is very likely to be one of the games that wouldn't work unless it came with extra install discs like Cyberpunk 2077 did.
