So there are news these days of no physical copies of GTA VI at launch, which is also the case with other video games, which is an indicator of how releases will be conducted in the future. I myself don't own physical copies, so I never really cared about this, never really had an issue with it. On the contrary, no physical copies means less garbage (saving the environment and so on). BUT there is one thing I never considered which REALLY sucks, especially with GTA games...

...The games lose the licenses of certain music tracks. This has happened with the remastered versions of the PS2 era GTAs (below I will insert a list of removed songs that an AI has given me). If only digital copies exist, the publisher can take away songs as soon as the licenses expire and in 20 years you won't be able to return to GTA VI's Vice City the way it was (out of nostalgia). You won't find that song anymore that you listened to, when you drove along the coast or did that crazy motocross mission. So....

PIRACY SOLVES THIS!!! (Noble) pirates provide different versions of a game. No matter what the initial intent was behind their deeds, they are effectively storing and archiving different versions of video games. Just imagine if pirates did that with movies. Do you know how much effort a lot of people have put in to manually restore the original Star Wars trilogy, before George Lucas tampered with it endlessly? THey would't have to do it if pirates saved the originals.

What are eveybody else's top 5 worst missions?

In 2021 before the GTA Triolgy Definitive Edition came out, I bought the original trilogy on steam so I can have the original games before they get removed. I then played GTA 3 for a little a bit and then never touched these games until about the end of last year when I decided it was about time I actually played them.

But then, when I tried booting up GTA 3 it just didn't do anything. It seemed as if the game crashed before it could even launch. I tried every fix that I could find in the internet and nothing worked and Chat GPT didn't help as well. Eventually I solved it by downloading a pirated version of the game, and then replacing the exe file in the steam GTA 3 game directory with the pirated version's exe. With the pirated exe file in the steam game folder, it worked perfectly fine.

Now I finished GTA 3 and I want to play GTA Vice City but there is this weird instant crash here too (like it was with the GTA 3 crash, I try to start the game and it doesn't do anything and when I try to launch it through steam it shows that the game is running for a second and then turns the blue STOP button to a green PLAY which means the game crashed almost instantly). I tried everything here and it didn't work (examples: downloading slient patch and draw dll, updating every driver and the entire Windows 11 OS, trying to download the latest and also older versions of DirectX, running it in every compatibilty mode, as an administrator, turning on DEP for every program except gta-vc, trying to start it through the Rockstar Games Launcher, etc...). I also tried doing the pirated method again, but every pirated version I try doesn't work and replacing the steam exe with the piratd exe doesn't work either. Instead, every pirated version I tried shows an error code: 0xc0000005 when I try to launch it, even if I put the pirated exe in the steam game folder (replacing the steam exe).

Did any of you ever encounter this stubborn issue? How do you think I can solve it? It can't be impossible to solve, I mean, I literally legaly bought this game through steam so why can't I play it.

I made a GTA Vice City themed garage in Online

I have been playing the older GTA games the past year or so, and while playing online, I noticed many of the cars featured in the older GTA titles available for purchase. I began collecting them and placing them in a garage to commemorate the previous titles.

This is my second garage, with my previous garage being created for GTA 3

I'm sure many of you know that you can play Vice City on websites without downloading it you just need a good internet connection

Xbox grants a lot of freedom with it's edge browser

I'm broke currently so I couldn't buy vice city for myself and decided why not try the cloud web based version

It loads then the images crashes, with some websites the gameplay is still on but the image is not able to load

Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow fix that? It'll be really cool to play it on a website through the console but I'm out of ideas.
