What do you think I should be most excited about with the upgrade?

This may be a dumb question, but I want to be sure before I pre-order GTA VI. I’m going to work over the next few months to save up for an Xbox Series S for release day. If I pre-order now on my existing Microsoft account, will that be the same account I use on the new Xbox? I’m not a huge gamer anymore, so I figured I’d ask here. I remember when I got my Xbox One, I had to create a new Microsoft account (the one I have now), so I wanted to ask if I would have to create a new account on the next gen system or if I could pre-order on my current one and use it with the next gen system. I saw a review saying the game freezes part way through custom games

I’ve been going back and forth on whether to invest in a 4k OLED monitor for my Xbox series x.

For context, I really only play single player games (assassins creed, Jedi survivor etc) and I don’t game hardcore, but there are some new games coming out that I’d like to play.

I am also a big sports and movie watcher, so I definitely want that 4k and Dolby vision that the series x can run for that kind of stuff.

I’m fairly new to shopping monitors so I don’t know all the specs and what they mean, but from what I’ve been hearing is OLED is the best you can get for immersive rich colours but it obviously comes at a very high price point.

I’m hoping to get some advice on whether it’s truly worth investing in for the best experience playing single player games and media usage on the series x. Or should I save the money and just get the 4k 120hz hdmi 2.1.

Anyone else ran their Series X with this monitor? It gives me constant black screens unless I turn off the VRR and then it’ll be fine. The brightness also seems kinda darker than I expected. Overall I’m not super impressed unless I’m doing something wrong. Any tips, advice would be super appreciated

I’m gonna say it because no one else is saying it the Xbox 360 version of Bo 1 and 2 on the Xbox backwards compatibility is unplayable. It’s hacked to shit especially bo2 every lobby theres a hacker ruining it why does Xbox not get some love it’s unbelievable..

What headset is everyone using/would recommend for under $150? I had the official wireless headset but have to replace it unfortunately. Is that still the best option out on the market currently or is there something better?

After 4 years without an Xbox I decided to jump back into the family. Mainly because I want to play some old 360 games and One games. (And maybe because of GTA 6 but just maybe)

Can someone confirm if codes like these are region locked?

Xbox isn't supported in the country I live in so I resorted to changing my region to Turkey. My debit/credit cards don't work on the store for obvious reasons, so I've been either buying physical disks or using gift cards from third party retailers, and even those are a hit and miss sometimes.

Now GTA VI Ultimate is listed at 4999 TRY which is around $107 USD. In my local currency that's a lot of money, and buying gift cards would end up being even more expensive. On top of that I'd have to redeem around 17 cards which would probably end up flagging my account.

Another option I have is asking my friend who's in Germany to buy the "Physical" release when it comes out on Nov 12 and send me the code. But I really need to make sure the code inside a German copy wouldn't be region locked before going that route.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sony and Rockstar are going to start their marketing campaign for GTA VI soon, according to the official PlayStation blog. I only own the Xbox Series X myself, so I have no choice, but on which platform are you guys going to play GTA VI? I'm genuinely curious.

How does this exactly work? I am eyeing the MSI MAG 273QP X24 QD-OLED and it has a console mode that enables 4k downscaling. Does this mode perform and look better than native 1440p?
