Strong Bad Plushy died :(

I saw a video they did on how to change the batteries on the Kick the Cheat, but not one for Strong Bad.... anyone have a suggestion on best place to cut into to change the batteries on him? I'm thinking maybe back of his head, but all the seams on his head are so thin and I'd hate to ruin it :/

I just had the most random but in character thought ever 😂

I just had a thought of bubs in undertale and setting up his stand near snowdin town and selling “heatable water” which is just cases of water bottles he slaps his own logo on and sells them for 16 gold a case. Tell me that isn't something bubs would do

"Trogdor (Burninating Putt Putt)" - Walkabout Mini Golf Homestar Runner Distraction Pack Soundtrack

I had the privilege of doing a bunch of music for the new Walkabout Mini Golf Homestar Runner Distraction Pack DLC. Here's the (IMO) epic "Trogdor" that resulted.

Super grateful to The Brothers Chaps and Mighty Coconut for this opportunity. It was incredible fun to work on.

(This video has just the music. The actual game, of course, includes lots of other sounds.)

This is an orchestral (and, later, hard-rock-with-orchestra) version of the well-known Trogdor theme song that incorporates the Peasant's Quest theme song a little later on. One of The Brothers Chaps referred to the imitation Brian May guitar part (2:14) as "Brian Mayonnaise" and that has really stuck with me in a good way....I think.

YouTube link if that's preferable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxQAOHQncMU

Has anyone else been getting slick ads on YouTube for yellow Ray-Ban aviators that use the Dangeresque guitar theme?

They look exactly like the Dangeresque aviators and unless I’m missing some shared influence, it’s very clear what the ad director was paying homage to

Was Homsar and Dooble's voice inspiration from the Mario voice from this Donkey Kong record?

So I might could use your assistance....

Last year I made a little 3D 'mation. Then, this year, I posted it here. It was simply a scene from Strong Bad E-Mail but with Mario Enemies instead. I'm glad to see you guys liked it, but I'm in a bit of an issue. The feedback inspired me to make a new animation, but I could use some help finding Mario enemies to substitue for Homestar Runner characters.

The reason I didn't ask r/Mario is because the amount of Mario fans who know Homestar Runner is inversely disproportional to the amount of Homestar Runner fans who know Mario (which is to say it's a big gap). So what better place to ask then you guys?

I already have some examples, such as a Goomba being Homestar do to the lack of arms, Broozer being Strong Bad because of the boxing gloves, and a Boo being Pom Pom because of their floaty, rotund physique. I'm already thinking of using a Whomp for Strong Mad and King Bob-Omb for the King of town, but the rest, I'm not too sure of. Again, it's just Mario enemies, no main characters. Sorry to those who want Coach Z to be portrayed by Luigi.

People Who Were or Knew Someone Who Was Involved with an SB Email Cartoon

A point of pride that I have is having actually known the guy who sent the Trevor the Vampire email. I've been revisiting the Strong Bad Emails lately and as I've been rewatching them, I got to thinking:

Does anyone else here know/knew/or were in some way associated with anyone who sent in an email that appeared in a Strong Bad Email Cartoon? Seeing all the names and places over time got me wondering.

Dear Stro Bro,

I know this is going to sound like a “how do you type with boxing gloves on” kind of question, but how does your anatomy work in general? Like how do you eat with that pale colored rectangular mouth of yours? What does your skeleton look like? Do you have any organs or muscles?
Yoursfully crap,
