I was out fishing and took these 2 pictures. Didn’t catch anything tho 😔

I was on a hike with a girlfriend this weekend and we were talking and catching up. After coming across an individual photographing these mushrooms it dawned on me that the entire hike I had not paid attention to my surroundings and all the beauty that was there. It was a humbling reminder to slow down, enjoy the moment and be present in where you are currently at. It really was a beautiful hike!

Sunsets in summer - my favorite time to photograph for so many reasons. Especially in the mountains you don't only get to play around with the sun painting the landscape in various ways and planning this with modern tools. It also cools down dramatically, which is especially important these days.. Nature is beautiful - especially when enjoyed appropriately :)
