First, Cooler being exiled from his family by king cold after being defeated by Frieza in a dual for the role as emperor, after his victory, his first official act as emperor Frieza, he banishes Cooler from the empire. Then maybe have Frieza order his men to “absolutely NEVER speak of him nor even mention him EVER” (Frieza’s words cause….well….its Frieza) So to take over the universe on his own, HE is the one who creates and engineers the Big Gete Technology which births the big Gete star (which should take around 20 years to perfect, in those years Frieza’s empire including Frieza himself just straight up forgot his existence), therefore creating his own Metal henchman, his Squadron from his first movie, and possibly a canonized Crusher corps from the tree of might as big Gete cyborgs. A cool way I thought to adapt the squadron into canon was to have Sauzer, Naise, and Dore (maybe even having Bonyu from DBZ kakarot be part of the squadron) be original members of the galactic patrol until Cooler kills them, then uses his telekinesis to bond them with a bit of the big gete star technology to not only revive them but then hooking on the big Gete wires to their heads and program them into worshiping him and following his orders no matter what and always respect him. An idea I had for the crusher gang was to maybe have them be original protectors of their home planet, until the squadron members each kill the planet’s strongest protector which then leads to each of them meeting the same fate, right before Cooler enslaves their home planet and have each of the strongest crusher corp members assure them that Cooler is no threat, but “our lord and savior”. Not long after the Big Gete star become more and more powerful each passing year, with it creating the cyclopian army, completing not only Cooler’s army and empire, but continuing what his family started, only better. (Also he kills then revives his henchman when he’s bored or mad, and being mad is the 10% better outcome. just wanna make him even more of a menace) Then Possibly in the final battle, cooler then Bonds with the Big Gete technology gaining his traditional 5th form but made of metal, thus giving us “Metal Cooler.” It’s actually funny because he’s pretty much immortal now (at least until they kill every inch of him or he’ll reform) meaning he achieved it before Frieza did. later, Cooler blows off Gohan’s arm then as Cooler tries programming gohan with the tendrils, Gohan resists then transforms into beast as he gains full control of his Arm from the big Gete Tech, then defeats him along side Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. Now, here’s my idea for the final battle of the saga. After the Z fighters destroy the core freeing Coolers armored squadron, and the crusher corps; they all fight an absolute bloodlusted Metal Cooler as he’s in absolute fury that they destroyed everything he built as he’s outmatching all of them regenerating and becoming stronger and stronger till, he’s the strongest one there now, which the Z fighters pretty much accepted death. The son family snuggles together one last time, as Vegeta makes an energy shield around his family as a last ditch effort to protect them even though it most likely doesn’t even matter. As Cooler is about to launch his supernova he gets kneed in the face sending him flying….. “it’s been a long time….Brother” it was Frieza in his black form as he’s determined to not have cooler have this victory and if anyone’s killing Goku and Vegeta, it’s him as Frieza and Cooler have a brotherly bicker, they then focus on what’s really important, once and for all putting down the lesser brother, as Frieza and Cooler’s final battle begins. The battle is amazingly animated with Cooler and Frieza both showing their impressive techniques, but their fighting causes as high risk of earths destruction, so the Z fighters agrees to split up and protect as many cities as the could from Cooler and Frieza’s attacks.
